What happens if I send funds to Bleap on the wrong chain?

Written by Tina

If you send funds to your Bleap wallet address on an unsupported network, the funds will remain at your wallet address on that network but will not appear in the Bleap app. This is because Bleap uses a smart-contract wallet that must be deployed on the target network to access or control the funds. If the smart contract is not deployed on the network where the funds were sent, the wallet cannot interact with or move those assets. These funds will remain inaccessible inside the Bleap app, but you are free to export your key (from the app settings) and recover them on a different platform.

⚠️ Please ensure you only send assets that belong to the same network as the destination address.

Note:

If you deposit anythig other than EURE or USDC, the assets will land in your trading balance. Bleap cannot recover or move funds sent to an unsupported network.

⚠️ Since the wallet is under your control, Bleap does not have the ability to reverse transactions or retrieve funds on your behalf. The funds will remain at your wallet address on the unsupported network until Bleap deploys its smart contract on that network.
