Why are bank transfers to Bleap accounts rejected or delayed?

Transfer rejected or delayed? Find out why

Written by Tina

Bank transfers to Bleap accounts may be reversed or rejected if the beneficiary name entered during the transfer does not exactly match the name specified in the Bleap app.

If the reference is incorrect this can also lead to delays or rejection of your funds.

Common Reasons for Reversals or Rejections

  1. Incorrect Beneficiary Name: The most common reason for a transfer being reversed or rejected is entering a beneficiary name that does not match the one displayed in your Bleap app. For example, if the app specifies "Bleap" as the beneficiary name, entering anything different may result in the transfer being returned.

  2. Mismatch in Account Details: Any discrepancies in the account details, such as the unique reference number, can also lead to issues with the transfer.

  3. Transfers from accounts not in your own name: We only accept bank transfers from accounts belonging to you. If the account owner is not you, transfer will be rejected.

How to Ensure Successful Transfers

To prevent your bank transfers to Bleap accounts from being reversed or rejected, follow these steps:

  1. Check the Beneficiary Name: Always use the exact beneficiary name as displayed in your Bleap app. This name is specific to your account and must match exactly.

  2. Verify Account Details: Double-check all account details, including the unique reference number, to ensure they are entered correctly.

  3. Send only from your own account: Do not make transfers from accounts that do not belong to you.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your bank transfers to Bleap accounts are processed smoothly and without delays.
