Your Bleap Magic Wallet gives you full self-custody of your crypto, only you have access to your funds. But that also means you're responsible for keeping your wallet safe.
What is your recovery code?
When you first create your account, you receive a backup code by email. This is not your private key it's a separate code you'll need to recover your wallet if you ever lose or change your device.
Keep it somewhere safe. If you delete the email, make sure you've saved the code elsewhere.
Why should I backup my wallet?
This code is personal, Bleap doesn't store it and cannot send you a new one.
Only you have access to it.
⚠️ - If you lose your device without your backup code, you will permanently lose access to your funds. No one, including Bleap, can recover your wallet for you.
So how can I backup my wallet?
Go to settings and click on Bleap Wallet, if you are an iOS user we are going to ask you backup the code to icloud and for Android users to Google Drive.
Follow the instructions in the app and you are set!
Can't find the email?
Sometimes it goes to spam, you need to search for the title "🔐 DO NOT DELETE - Bleap recovery instructions".
