How to Verify Your Bleap Account?

This article is a guide through the verification documents you will need to submit when creating your Bleap account.

Verification is required to use Bleap and only takes a few minutes if you have the right documents ready.

The 3 main verification steps

1. Take a selfie: A clear photo of your face. Make sure to have good lighting, no sunglasses.

2. Upload your ID: A valid photo of your government-issued ID (Can be an ID or passport). Must not be expired.

3. Upload a Proof of Address: A document showing where you live. See below for what's accepted.

Depending on your situation, you may also be asked for a Residence Permit or Source of Funds documentation. See below.


Selfie

  • Face clearly visible, no accessories

  • Good lighting, avoid dark backgrounds


ID

✅ Accepted:

  • National ID card (front and back)

  • Passport

❌ Not accepted:

  • Expired documents

  • Driving licence

  • Photos of screens or photocopies


Proof of Address

✅ Accepted:

  • Utility bill (gas, water, electricity)

  • Bank statement

  • Official letter from a government body

Requirements:

  • Must be a PDF or a readable photo of the original document

  • Issued within the last 3 months

  • Must show your full name and current address

❌ Not accepted:

  • Your ID or passport

  • Your residence permit

  • Anything older than 6 months

  • Screenshots

Why Was My Proof of Address Rejected?

Upload the PDF version or Take a photo of the original paper document

Name missing or wrong

Make sure your full name is visible

Address doesn't match

Use a document with your current address

Wrong document type

Don't use your ID or residence permit for this step


Residence Permit

In some cases, we are required to collect a valid residence permit. If this applies to you, you'll be notified in the app. It mus be a valid residence permit (not expired).

Source of Funds

Do to some regulations we must follow, we may ask you to provide documentation proving where your money comes from. This is a standard compliance requirement.

Documents must clearly show your name, the source of income, and be from the past 6 months.

If your verification isn't completing, check that all documents are PDFs, show your full name, and are within the required date range.
