What is a BRL top up?
BRL top ups let you add money to your Bleap account directly from a Brazilian bank account.
You send Brazilian reais (BRL) using the PIX payment details shown in the app. Your BRL is converted automatically and arrives in your Bleap balance as euros (EUR).
Who is the provider for BRL top ups?
BRL top ups are provided by Avenia.
The Brazilian payment account shown in the app is held in Avenia's name, not your name or Bleap's name.
Avenia receives the BRL payment and handles the conversion into EUR before the funds are credited to your Bleap account.
Always use the payment details shown in the Bleap app when making a top up.
How does a BRL top up work?
Select BRL as your top-up currency and follow the payment instructions shown in the app.
When you send the BRL payment, Avenia receives the funds, converts them into EUR and sends the resulting euros to your Bleap account.
You do not need to make a separate currency exchange.
Once the transfer is completed, the money lands in your Bleap balance as EUR.
How is the BRL to EUR exchange rate calculated?
The BRL to EUR exchange rate is continuously updated to reflect the current conversion price.
Before making the payment, the app will show you the latest available rate and the corresponding EUR amount.
Because foreign exchange prices move constantly, the quoted conversion amount may update while you are preparing your top up.
Always check the latest rate shown in the app before sending your payment.
Are there any fees for BRL top ups?
No. Bleap does not charge a fee for BRL top ups.
The amount is converted using the exchange rate shown for the transaction, with no additional top-up fee charged by Bleap.
Your payment provider may apply its own charges depending on how you send the BRL payment.
What currency will arrive in my Bleap account?
Euros.
Although you send the payment in Brazilian reais, the BRL is converted before it reaches your Bleap balance.
As soon as the funds are credited to Bleap, they are already in EUR.
There is no BRL balance created in your Bleap account and no additional conversion step is required.
Will the receiving account be in my name?
No. The Brazilian payment account used for the top up is in Avenia's name.
This is expected. Avenia is the provider handling the BRL collection and conversion.
Make sure you use the exact payment details and any required reference or identifier displayed in the Bleap app so that your payment can be correctly matched to your account.
Do I need to exchange BRL into EUR myself?
No.
Send BRL using the instructions provided in the app. Avenia handles the BRL to EUR conversion automatically, and the resulting EUR amount is credited to your Bleap balance.
What payment details should I use?
Always use the BRL payment details displayed in your Bleap app.
Do not reuse payment details from an old top up or from another user. Payment instructions may include information that is specific to your transaction or account.
Do I need a CPF to use this feature?
Yes, BRL top-ups are only available to Brazilian nationals who hold a valid CPF, and your CPF needs to be verified in order to access this feature.
Without a verified CPF, PIX top-ups won't be available on your account, even if your phone number is Brazilian.
How long does a Reais top-up take to arrive?
Transfers are near instant.
PIX transfers settle almost instantly on the Brazilian banking side, usually within seconds, 24/7, since PIX doesn't rely on business-day processing.
Once Bleap receives your transfer, your balance is credited immediately with no additional waiting period.
How do I pay with Reais to add funds to my Bleap account?
Follow these steps to top up your Bleap balance using BRL via PIX:
Step 1: Tap "Add Money" on the App Home Screen
Step 2: Choose PIX as your payment method
PIX will appear as a top-up option once you've completed the verification required for this feature (must hold a valid CPF).
Step 3: Choose Reais as your top-up currency
Select Reais from the currency list. You'll see the exchange rate applied. Bleap doesn't charge any fee on this conversion, so you get one of the best rates available for converting Reais.
Step 4: Copy your PIX details
Bleap will show you the PIX key (or QR code) to send your transfer to. Open your bank app, select PIX, and send the exact amount shown.
Step 5: Funds land instantly
PIX transfers settle within seconds, including weekends and holidays. As soon as Bleap receives your transfer, it's converted and credited to your balance immediately.
